221(g) Request for Review of H1 Visa Application

Hi,
A friend of mine recently got 221g from chennai consulate. He was asked to produce a letter of agreement between the employer and the client OR a letter from client that he will be travelling for so and so work.

His employer send him an agreement letter between him and the client. But at the end of this letter the name/ph#/email etc of the person representing the client has been hidden. When asked, my friend got to know from his employer that this has been hidden because of Non Disclosure Agreement between the employer and the client. His employer has also given a letter which state that there is a non disclosure agreement and so the names are hidden.

My friend feels that that because of client contact details not being present his stamping may be rejected . Some how he am not getting good feeling and he feels that hiding things may make the consulate more suspicious. Please advice what shall be done.

He should notify the potential employer he will not be granted a visa under the current situation and if employer wants him, it needs to provide more info. Here are the steps he can take with regard to the rejection:
