My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Texas
I traded a car in, papers signed, loan established and I go home with the car.
They come back a week later saying they have discovered that the frame of the car has been tampered with.
My car that was traded in was previously modified with air suspension, they new about that. They inspected the car, appraised it and that was it. They didn't ask me anything about the car, even if they did, I didnt know. I sent the car to a shop to get the air suspension installed.
They found something in the post sale inspection so now they want to back out of the trade.
Can they legally do that?
