I don't mind the "you can legally hold hands"-type answers, which I tried to reinforce when I pointed out that the question itself was not about sex. There are, I think, good reasons not to get into the "age of consent" / "statutory rape" side of adult-child dating.
I understand, but at his age...I had these questions, and it happens more than people realize...A Senior who is 18, dating a junior who is 17, yet techincally a minor...
It is a legitimate, innocent circusmtance
If they want to know about holding hands and kissing mouth-to-mouth, or if they want to know about whether the child has to obey mommy and daddy's rules, that's one thing. If they're asking about the type of contact that is covered by statutory rape and child molestation laws, they should consult a lawyer.
With all due respect, i would like to say that 1) i asked if it was legal, not if it fit your personal moral code because we all have different morals and i know the situation better anyways so it is difficult to decide if it is right or wrong if you dont know anything about the situation. 2) i said that i couldnt imagine not being able to be with her meaning I cant imagine not having her in my life, i never said that i couldnt wait because if it is necessary i could and would wait
Im sorry if that came off as rude at all but i just had to say my thoughts about your comments. I in no way meant to be disrespectful it is just hard to convey things like that without coming off as rude when you are not able to see or even hear eachother.
