My question involves defamation in the state of: Florida

This may be long-winded, but I feel like the facts are needed.

I was recently terminated for "inappropriate conduct", which is the reason my employer gave to me when I asked. I was involved in an incident where I saw a woman pushing a cart full of alcoholic beverages (i worked in a large liquor store) and she passed by me multiple times to smile at me and maintain strong eye contact. Taking the hint, I wrote "you're cute. Text me, followed by my phone number and name" on a card. The next time she passed me, I said "here, you dropped this" and handed her the card and walked away. (we were particularly busy this day). About 10 minutes later, I am called to the front by my manager, and see the young woman standing there with an older man.
It occurred to me that she must have been under age (she didnt look it, maybe 16 or 17, i'm 23). My manager leads me outside to tell me how it is against policy to give out your phone number (it isn't, as described in the handbook) and before i could apologize, the father comes outside screaming that i am a pedophile and that i should be arrested for sexual harassment. This is done in front of my employer, other customers, and my co-workers.
I am separated and made to sit in the break room. Eventually the police come in and ask my side, which i tell them. They said to me "there was nothing criminal done here" but that i needed to be careful because sometimes young girls can seem older, and if something happened it would be statutory rape etc... They leave.
I am then suspended for the rest of the day, and the following day, and was told to wait for the call after human resources are contacted. I never got a call, so I called, and asked if I was working that day. I was told I would have to be terminated. I asked "on what grounds" and my employer said "inappropriate conduct". I told her that I didnt do anything wrong, and she said "come on, she was underage. Sorry." and hung up.

In the month prior to this incident, I had reported threats, theft, suspected drug use on premises, harassment, and various other felonies occurring at work, and even asked for a transfer because of these things. I was told to "not rock the boat" and to not be "annoying", unless I was otherwise ignored.

I believe I have a strong (and borderline obvious) case here. Any thoughts? I need some advice
