My question involves criminal law for the state of: California
I actually posted about my arrest but, and came to update but it's been locked, so started a new thread.
Anyway, I finished my prop 36 requirements, wasn't easy, not because of any drug use, just because of the time commitment expected, and my last court date was this past Thursday, and I was given a certificate of completion and they mention all charges are dropped, but wondering how long to clear off the books. Or I guess, they never do, they just note "no conviction" on the crime?
Just wondering what and who do I have to mention the crime to. I know I don't have to claim it on applications for jobs and such, unless going into law enforcement myself, which isn't going to happen.
Just wondering the what's/how's now....
Anyone?
