My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: TENNESSEE
I work as a W2 employee with a non profit organization. I began as a W9 employee but was changed over to W2. The holidays are here and I have been told that there will be no work for me until at least 01/06/2014.
There is no formal layoff and another employee with the same job description ( which is part-time maintenance) will be working. Is this legal? Do I have any legal options?![]()
