Interesting. I don't know why I always assumed that minors could not enter into contractual agreements. So if the home owner refused to pay the kids the difference, the kids could file papers to take the home owner to small claims court?

Perhaps you lived in a wealthy community as a youngster, where no teenagers held jobs or did chores for money. Perhaps you've never been served by a teenager at a fast food joint. Perhaps you have never seen a movie with a child actor....
