That's what I've been reading, but there seem to be some exceptions as well. I'm looking to see if there's anyone who was an exception.

Also when I called the FBI number for background checks, I was told that when the state sends the expungement notice to FBI, within 4 weeks of the notice, FBI expunges their record as well (I believe this is the FBI record that is used for FDIC background check purposes). So, for those who did the expungement process, it would be prudent to run a check for FBI records 4 weeks after they are notified by the State about the completion of their expungement at the state level, to make sure that FBI has in fact expunged their record.
