I recieved a failure to obey regulation sign for a right lane must turn right on the freeway. I was in the farthest right lane trying to get back into traffic for a quite a bit of time, seeing that the lane must turn right to exit, and i finally was given space towards the end to enter into the lane. However, as i was entering the lane, i went over a part of the hatched zone. The officer was already giving out a ticket, probably for a person that just went through the hatched zone, and he heard me go over the little circles, which then he pointed at me to pull over to the side. After he had let the other car go, it was then he cited me. My father was with me inside the car, and he and i both agree that this citation was unjustfully given. This citation was given to me in Pamona, California (a town that is far and i am unfamiliar with) and im trying to appeal or contest this citation. For my reasoning, is this something that can be fought? Also, the court is about an hour from where i live, is there a way that i can switch to the court nearest my home?
