My question involves criminal law for the state of: Georgia
My question is hypothetical but is still important and relevant.
In this scenario there are three people involved, Person A, Person B, and Person C.
Person A goes to a very small gathering of friends to consume marijuana. Person B brings the weed and it's Person C's house. All three have just smoked marijuana and are reclining in a separate room from the weed. The police bust in or somehow attain entry to the house and find the weed. If person A sells out person B and C and sings like a whistle to the fact it is not their weed, who gets arrested? Who gets charged? Does person A get off because they do not possess the weed and it is not their house? Also person A provides thorough testimony and statements of the guilt of person B or C.
