And if this were a real thread, I would point out that Federal law does NOT say that an employer is required to hire anyone who applies who happens to be a member of a minority religion, race, etc., - only that their membership in a protected class has to be taken off the table and their application assessed without taking that membership into consideration. If the applicant would not be hired anyway, the fact that they are in a so-called protected class does not guarantee them a job.
