    That'll be quite enough of your mouth.

    I'm not asking for payment, but reservation of my rights to my property.
    That's nice.

    Your employer is not obligated to grant that if you're bringing your software for use on the job.

    What you need to do is run your thoughts by a competent IP attorney in your area, then ASK your employer to agree to your terms. Keep in mind that your employer can say No, in which case anything you're already using at work is likely fair game, or can fire you for even asking.

    Don't write any more software that you intend to use at work.
