    I did, and just did again. I really don't understand. The child left a note and said she wanted to be emancipated. It sounded to me like mom has talked to the child in the past, but not since the child ran away.

    I could be entirely wrong...but that is how it is coming across to me. I think that mom is dreaming a bit if she thinks that the child is gung ho to live with her.

    I'm reading it as, "Kiddo doesn't want to live with Dad, can we get her emancipated so she can live with me? Got a ton of ammo I can use against him"

    And yeah - the other posts did leave a nasty mouth-feel. That whole threat thing.

    (Okay I promise never to use those two words together again. Mouth-feel?!)
