Default Caught Shoplifting While Out on Bond For a Felony Charge

My question involves criminal law for the state of: South Carolina.

Hello, I'm 18, and live in South Carolina. I currently have pending felony charges for something that happened a while back, and I'm currently out on bond. I did something -very very very very stupid, and stole a 39$'s piece of Merchandise from Walmart. The police were involved and I was taken to the backroom where I cooperated 100%. I was put inside the walmart-system, banned, and the officer gave me a citation to appear in court Friday. I have a paid lawyer, and I really am remorseful for my actions, what should I expect? I really want to just pay for fines, I was caught by an employee.

YOu can expect your lawyer fees; court costs and fines; probation, anti-shoplifting class are possible. And the Civil Demand from the store.

You should expect that you do not get to call the shots as to what you want to pay.

I can understand. And I'm willing to pay anything and write a statement of apology. It was a stupid-mistake of stealing baby-formula and diapers, never again will this happen.

So you're pending felony charges for one crime, while out on bond (I presume) you commit yet another crime and you have a small child at home? You, my dear are starting out adulthood famously.

    Are you out on bond?

Which OP can expect to be revoked, then get to spend the time up until their felony trial in jail.

The OP will probably not get bond revoked for shoplifting.

Ou should tell your lawyer the truth. You should also advise your bail agent of your arrest.

Really? So you think a bail bondsman will continue a bond for someone who has such an obvious disregard for the law? Interesting. I've seen a few of those bail bonds contracts in my lifetime. ANY violation of the law, especially one that results in arrest (and citation is arrest) on even misdemeanor charges results in revocation....

Please just cut the vile attitude out. I made a mistake, -people- make mistakes, I manned up and took full responsibility for my stupid-decisions, I didn't ask to be judged by you, nor do you hold the seat entitled to judge me. Only my rightful Lord can do that, have a nice day.

A mistake is putting on one brown sock and one blue sock in the morning.

A mistake is not getting yourself a felony conviction/charge and then committing another criminal action.

You'll probably find that the Lord isn't going to be presiding over your case. It's a bit hard to track down His schedule, and having Him served is a bit of a doozy.
