Yes, thanks, I will specifically look into state law which it mentions in the pamphlet. Specifically, whether MA colleges can require it as a condition of returning from a LOA (leave of absence).

EDIT: I cannot find information about such state-specific laws in MA.

As I stated before, safety of myself and others is very well-supported by my history as well as all clinicians I've seen.
So safety concerns can't be used by them as justification. I didn't sign anything. And... the conclusion of my last post summed up my argument.

You are withholding facts. You are refusing to explain why you will not or cannot document to the college that you are capable of returning and completing a degree program.

As you refuse to do so, thereby preventing your readmission through your own choices, you should consider enrolling in a different college.

Here is a link to the non profit that authored that paper. They exist to assist college students with mental health issues.

    I am not withholding information.

I am able to return. I'm sane and happy. I have been successful in two classes this semester at a top university: one hard class, and one legendarily difficult class.

I also *have* been submitting my medical tests: neuropsychological and psychological.

However, based upon my last application, where they *literally just wanted a longer printout of a scantron test*, my confidence in the readmission process is a bit shaken. It takes very little for them to say "try again later".

That's why I'm unhappy. I see these tests as an arbitrary obstacle to me furthering my long-term goals at my undergraduate institution.

Frankly, it doesn't matter why I dislike their demands.

It's simply a question of whether they are inherently exempt from many major provisions of the ADA, which I suspect they are not.

If by "I am able to return" you mean that you have met their requirements for returning, you're wasting our time. If you continue to refuse to meet their requirements, then the point stands. Your statement, "they *literally just wanted a longer printout of a scantron test*", doesn't make sense. Perhaps you mean that they want to review a full test, and you took a partial test? You are again choosing to withhold information and make us guess.

You don't want to provide the information? Then you need to accept the consequence of your choice and move on with your life. You may think that your reason for refusal is irrelevant, but they are quite reasonable in interpreting your refusal as a demonstration of your inability to document that your mental condition remains an impediment.

I believe I've done their required testing, to their satisfaction. However, I thought this in the past as well, when they turned me down.

Previously, my doctor sent in a 1 page summary of my psychological test. Turns out they wanted a long, 10-page report of my (scantron) psychological test, so they denied it. They were satisfied with the other components of my application.

I am trying to be fully transparent.

I am not intentionally withholding any relevant information, with the sole exception of my identity and institution.

Yes, that has now been sent in as well. But only time will tell if every little detail has been met to their satisfaction.

I think that the hypothetical case of me being readmitted, by their process, is relatively independent from:

The legality of them having mandated medical testing, as an indirect requirement of employment, when I never agreed to any terms either electronically or in writing. I'd prefer to mostly stick to this issue, rather than whether they'll let me back in anyways.

You are confusing the issue. Employment there is an indirect benefit of being re-accepted as a student.

Isn't that a loophole that companies could exploit to sidestep the ADA in that case? "We're a club, with medical requirements, where only club members can work for business X"
