Severance Pay and Child Support

My question involves child support in the State of: Tennessee

In a couple of months, I am being laid off by my current employer and I am receiving a severance package. I'm assuming child support will deduct a certain amount from, is there anyway I can calculate this amount? Also, unless I'm able to find a job I will have to collect unemployment, what's the procedure on notifying the courts?
