My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: ca

I was terminated for violating company policies & procedures but the date of the last so called "violation" was over a month before I was terminated. Does the month I worked after the violation count for the 5x weekly benifit amount you need to reopen claim? Also what constitutes "soliciting work"? If my client asked me if I knew anyone who could re-grout a counter and I said "my husband does that kind of work" , is that soliciting work? I'd appriciate any advice. I have 12 days left to file an appeal. Oh did I mention I was denied benifits because of misconduct.
