My question involves police conduct in the State of: Naval base in Italy. My 14 yr old son has been falsely accused of a sexual assault against a minor child. There is no proof of the accusation only that the mother who was legally drunk at the time of the allegation believed her daughter's false story because her daughter did not want to get in trouble. The accusation is minor but enough for ncis to get involved. Ncis has been warning all of our friends of our son, have been investigating my son and have labeled him a criminal even though there are no formal charges. They are naming my son when they interview people, even though there is no proof that my son did anything and he denies all allegations. My son said he was the one assaulted as the young girl was kissing on him and hitting his privates as she was pretending to be a cat. There has been no action to protect my son and follow up on his complaint of the little girl. What are his rights? Are his rights being violated? What can I do to protect my son and his reputation?
