Default My End Client is Not Approving Hours and Providing No Reason

I worked with a contracting firm and they placed me with a client. After about 6 months, I quit the contracting firm. The end client is not approving my last week's hour, and therefore I didnot receive my pay for that week. The end client is not providing any reason for not approving my work hours. When I sent an email to my boss, he mentioned that there is some budget issue and will be sorted in 1-2 days. Now it is 2 weeks already. My hiring company and I contacted my end-client, but the boss is not responding to email/phone call.

Is this allowed to just ignore time approval without providing any reason? Any suggestion will be appreciated.

    you left out your state

other than that, your issue is with your employer. They owe you whatever the terms of your employment agreement says you are owed regardless of what the client is doing, unless part of your agreement was that the end client must provide some approval such as you are not receiving.

Thanks for your comments. I am following up with my employer. Is there any thing else I need to do at this point?

(No, really - you need to list your state)

Since you have not listed your state, we don't know what other options you might have. It really does matter.
