My question involves a marriage in the state of:Minnesota.
So this may be long. I was divorced a year ago and one thing we agreed on was that I would take the debt (50k) and she would waive spousal support. Now I agreed only to the debt amount for that agreement. So what I did was get a loan for a lot less interest on it and I will pay it off over 5 years. Now she is nickle and diming me to death about the kids because I am required to pay 83 percent of all the kids activities. I am OK paying it but I just can't keep up with her spending habits. So is it legal or charge her the interest that I have to pay back for the debt that I took on? Because I only agreed to the debt amount but I will still end up paying thousands more in interest that I didn't agree on in writing. I know it may seem petty but I am not sure what to do anymore. She hits me up every two weeksfor money. I am paying her like 200 hundred every 2 weeks but she keeps buying more stuff for the kids so it never goes away. By the way, I have 50/50 joint and I pay a lotin child support too, I am not a dead beat dad because I pay the child support on time and I am up to date and fully involved with the kids. Its all the extra stuff. Thanks!
