My question involves court procedures for the state of: California. My wife's employer offered me a job which included fixing up two of his properties in order to ready his properties to become a sober living home, i was going to be the house manager. So, all was going fine. Fixed up house #1, so his family could move in to that house. I moved his family in to house #1, then i went to house #2, and began working on it. Since i would be living there, i brought my belongings, furniture etc.. House #1 took approx 4 weeks to finish (i lived in the house while i was working on it. I have now been in house #2 a little over 4 weeks, and the house is completed and is full with renters.
Over the course of the last 2 months, i have noticed that this man is a thief. Many things of mine have suddenly disappeared. My wife has been missing things from their office for the past 6 months or so. I did bring it to his attention that i knew and wanted my things returned.
2 days ago, he said he wanted me to move out right now, he no longer trusted me in his house. I told him we had a business arrangement. If he wanted me to move without keeping his end of the deal, then he could pay me for the work i performed at both houses. Until he did that i wasn't moving. So yesterday, he went to court and got a TRO and brought the police to serve it. I happened to not be home when they all arrived. How can i get this thing removed. He has listed that i must stay away from him his office and both of his houses. I have all my possessions at this house. He lied to get the court to issue it by saying he lived at the house where i live. He is also claiming i assaulted him. And his wife is saying i stole her jewelry box. Both are lies. What to do? HELP??!!
