Default Landlord Won't Give Tenant a Larger Parking Spot

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: CA

    Hi,
I have moved into a community apartments two weeks ago. When we signed the contract they gave me a parking spot. The parking spot is, however, for compact cars or electrical cars. It is too small for my car and when I park there my car is like one or two feet out of the box. Also in front of my parking spot there is a door to the building electricity unit. If I park there the door can not be open. I explained my concerns to the office staff but they refuse to do any action and just told me to live with it. Is there any law that I can use to convince them to change my parking spot.

    Thanks in advance,

There is no law that requires that they give you a parking spot, let alone one that will force them to change it.

You are not used to thinking out of the box I gather.

    (sorry, had to say it)

I think Disagreeable might be thinking what I'm thinking.

Keep parking there and when management wants to open that door and can't, you'll be in a better bargaining position.

    Thanks guys for the reply.
There is a good chance that they open the door and damage my car and nobody would take responsibility for it.

I would never suggest OP tick off management by pulling as far forward as possible to protect his vehicle.
