My question involves a marriage in the state of: Colorado
Not sure this is the best place for this question, but since it applies to a divorce (alimony) thought I would start here.
At the start of September this year I received the court's decision on whether I had to continue alimony payments. The order infers that i continue making payments of $1000 per month until a total payment of $33,000 has be reached. It then goes on to say that these payments are to continue to July 2017, which is 48 months from the time of the Order, or a total of $48,000.
Neither I nor my lawyer caught this discrepancy before the 14 day review period was past.
Is there a way to get the court to clarify its statement at this point without going into a full blown appeal?
