Default Can a Child's Boyfriend's Parents Get Custody of the Child Against Parents' Wishes

My question involves guardianship in the State of: indiana
Ok I'm 14 and I don't have a very good home environment. My mom is never home. She doesn't want me to have a social life and I've tried and have hurt myself many times. I've been going to a therapist since I was like 6 and my grades have been slipping and i plan to get away from home by going to college and I can't take living at her house anymore. I'm worried for my life. My dad's not in my life so I can't live with him. But my boyfriends mom is willing to take temporary guardianship till my grades get up and I'm mentally able to handle living with her. How does she get temporary custody? And I know my mom will never agree. Would my therapist just have to prove my environment is not stable for me? Or what?

Even if you had an abuse or neglect issue, the court isn't going to move you in with your boyfriend's Mom.

I agree. There is absolutely no chance of that happening. About the only thing that could happen is that if your mother is proven unfit, that you will be sent to foster care.

If your mom does not agree, then it's not happening. Period. No loopholes. No, but what ifs. No, but you don't understand my situation.

Either your mother agrees, or no one else gets guardianship. Period.

The only exception, and I do mean the ONLY exception, would be if the state decided that your conditions were so detrimental to you that they needed to remove you from the home. If that were to be the case, you would be placed with another relative first and a foster home to be determined by the state second. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will the state place you with your boyfriend's mother.
