Criminal Conversion Charges After Shoplifting With a Group of Friends

My question involves criminal law for the state of:Indiana

I was at Walmart with some ppl they were shop lifting,we were leaving and stopped by security.They asked us to come into the security room,I was told because I was with them I was now part of it.I was the only one with an I.d so I gave it.The police were called but no one was arrested.The merchandise totaled $29.46.Weeks later I received a 100 dollar civil demand
And payed it.Now I received a summons at an address I have not lived at in a year it was thrown on the porch of the house I was living at next door up to one month ago,crumpled and missing a page (I know this cause there's a staple with torn paper still attached).It states that im being charged with criminal conversion. I was only able to find this paper due to the fact I stopped to make sure no more of my mail was going to the address I just moved from.What's going to happen,am I going to jail? I can't afford a lawyer,what can I do.I also am puzzled on why was I the only one charged by Walmart and the court?
