My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Idaho
I'd like any professionals to please hear me out. I'll get to the point.
I'm in a tough situation, I've done the research, and I'm aware of the difficulty. My concerns are within my needs being met by the time I wish to go to college, and whether or not I'll be thrown in detentional institutions for something I haven't done within the next couple years. I'm not pursuing this simply because I don't like living with my mother. We don't, however, have the best relationship. In retaliation to my usual teenaged rebellious acts, (nothing illegal) my mother has contacted a prosecuting attorney to report me as a runaway (which I haven't), sent me to b-3, the local juvenile detention, for battery on her (which I haven't), and called the police multiple times and had me arrested, all within malicious intent and no practical reason. The month before I turn 17 I'll have graduated (not dropped out of) highschool, and wish to go to the college of my choice that following year, which my mother has made perfectly clear she wouldn't allow while she could. I know this sounds outlandish, as if I were only telling half the story, but I'm not. Im working a job. Im paying for my own classes. Can i or can i not contact and pay for an emancipation of minors attorney, to be emancipated by the time i turn 17.
Thankyou, i appreciate in advance for any productive information.
