My question involves employment and labor law for the state of: North Carolina
Hello all! I'm hoping some legal light can be shed in this situation. My Mother is in serious disposition. Her employer barley gives her any working hours. She worked only 4 (yes 4,four,cuatro etc.) this week & I'm in serious need of knowing if North Carolina has ANY and I repeat ANY type of law enforcing a set minimum of working hours in a week. My mother is probably the only person who is employed at her place of business that needs money to pay bills & I feel her employer is doing her wrong in some very obscure/indirect manor. You're now probably asking yourself(s) "Why don't this kid get a job himself?" well, (another) sad fate of this situation is that I applied everywhere and I MEAN EVERYWHERE in my community for a job. Every employer either never calls me back, or refuses to say anything when I contact them. Well... enough rambling. I hope someone on here will give some advice. Cause you people on here actually know what you're talking about. Thanks for reading & God Bless!
