My question involves a traffic citation from the state of: California
Got a parking ticket for my moped. I parked on a sidewalk that fronts the beach off a parking lot. The citation is for parking on a center median. This is a violation under one part of the city's traffic code, However I was not in a center median that is implied in portions of California vehicle code as a space or divider of lanes of traffic. Is my defense that I was not in a median???
