Default Applying for Green Card with 2 Misdemeanors

Hello all. I have been married to my US citizen wife for 3.5 years now. I had 1st misdemeanor in 2010 for petit larceny. The item was a $38.88. I was just fined $100, no jail term, no probation and no community service. However, I have been able to renew my student visa twice with that record meaning am admissible to USA. My 2nd record is unlawful sale of motor vehicle from DMV for selling more than 4 cars per year. Now am ready to file for my green card am not sure of the 2 misdemeanors. Am assuming renewing my student visa twice and entering USA twice there is a chance of getting it. I just graduated in December 2012 and my visa expires in 2014 august. Currently on student opt never went off status. Thanks

IMO, if you have any kind of criminal history, you should consult an attorney regarding any immigration issue.
