They had witnesses that saw he was the only one when he got out of the car......
I thought I was getting some actual help here. You're just saying I am te only one here who can get in any trouble.

No, actually, no one is saying you're the only one who CAN get into trouble. We're saying that if your friend decides to throw you under the bus, you're not going to have much of a defense unless those witnesses decide to speak up, which they may or may not do.

No one said you broke any laws. Can't you get it through you're head that we're trying to warn you that friends have been known to LIE to get themselves out of trouble, and if your so-called friend decides to LIE, you could be the one he lies about? That the whole reason he called you at that hour was to get you to take the blame?

No one is accusing you - we're trying to prepare you for what could happen if you get used as a scapegoat.

    Your friend could easily lie.
And the police saw you - not your friend, but you - at the scene.

He crashes his car in the middle of the night, and wakes up a minor friend who cannot drive to come get him, and then isn't there when the friend arrives, but no, he's not trying to get the friend to take the blame. He's not trying to arrange the circumstances so that the police see the friend at the scene and not him. Oh, no.

Okay, kid. Have it your way. Good luck with the law.

He called me literally 3 minutes after he dropped me off. He didn't have time to formulate that plan. And the "Police" was a cruiser who asked my what a noise was.......
Not exactly a questioning. And his sisters tag is on the car that is STILL parked in the same spot after he went home. He was seen at the scene AND the men around the car saw me walking up from the OPPOSITE direction. Not at all what you are thinking.
Can someone just tell me if I can get into any trouble from what I have said please?

    We already have. Several times.

Yes. Whether you WILL get into any legal trouble or not is unknown, but you CAN.

Not because you did anything wrong. But because appearances are against you.

That is going to be the answer no matter how many times you ask.
