My question involves defamation in the state of: north carolina ,supervisor asked me hypotehtically what i would do if coworker held in against my will in a corner and intended to cause me harm and i said i would defend my self if forced to do so and my life was in danger and that i woild not let anyone hurt me or cause me harm and i was terminated because supervisor reported to hr that i threatened a coworker based on his hypothetical questions is this legal for just cause for termination or is this misrepresentation and intentional fraud
