My question involves juvenile law in the State of: California
A 19 year old boy had sex with my 17 year old girl. (Not rape but she deeply regrets it and I had no clue what was going on.
Can I have him arrested?
Thanks

I didn't ask for your opinion. I asked a simple question regarding the law. That's what this forum is supposed to be for, I thought.
I'm not stupid. I know what to do for her. I didn't ask what you THINK I should do for her.

"If it was not rape, and the age difference is only two years, I'd say counsel the girl and encourage her to make better choices in the future."
That's not what people go to lawyers for. When you provide your personal opinion rather than the facts, you appear to think you're better than me, or anyone else. Stick to the facts rather than insulting people with how you think they should live their lives. I've got great advice from people on this site. I also received a lot of "Life advise" that is not necessary.
First of all, you don't know the entire story. You don't know that he's 19, has had sex with multiple underage girls who won't come forward. Including a 15 year old and 16 year old.
I can not do anything about those girls, but I can do something for my daughter.
So what is "deplorable" here is that you want to defend a looser who preys on young girls. But I didn't want to go into all the details in my first post, and I don't want to go into the rest of the details now. I shouldn't have to.
So your life advise falls short. I asked a simple question of people who are supposed to be knowledgeable about the law. You're really lowering the quality of this site.
