My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: California
Hello,
Ok so my lease ended mid august, I turned in my 30-day notice mid July and moved out of my apartment when I was required to. My roommate decided he wanted to stay at the same place and now the management has asked me to sign a roommate release form.
I don't think I have any more ties to that apartment so I don't understand why I am required to sign anything.
Please advice what I should do.
Sign or not sign? Any repercussion either way?
Thanks
