Default Re: Walmart Employee Took Pic of My License Plate

As a note, I just made a burglary case against a guy who had come into the local WalMart previously and they suspected of shoplifting. A diligent employee found proof of criminal activity via tape and transactions and we sent it to the DA this morning.

Yes, they CAN make a criminal case on the tape.

Time to turn from this life of crime. A conviction for theft is a crime of moral turpitude and would make employment difficult for you ... time to straighten up before you DO get caught.

Not necessarily. In theory, they could have you dead to rights on video/floor surveillance from start to walking out the door and simply didn't stop you for one reason or another. I had some cases in my day where I had to break off the stop but I had everything I needed for it.

Since it hasn't been said yet, STOP STEALING! You are helping drive up costs for the rest of us, not to mention jeopardizing your future when you get caught.
Yeah it was stupid, and I am done.

I guess I will have to wait and see, I should have changed it to I dont THINK they have me, especially a start to finish, because I always walk around a BUNCH and a lot of times I do just dump it.
I think the LPA walking out to take pics of my license plate would have popped me if they had something on me for sure. This is all of course pure speculation and the lesson for ANYONE reading this is DO NOT SHOPLIFT.

    Here's a story for you.

I got caught 4.5 years ago. The economy sucks.

Because of not being able to find a full-time job....I have lost $80K in come in 4 years. No insurance. I tested very good for a Data Entry job with Office Team, but a 4.5 year old crime screwed me.......

    Got it now?
