My question involves business law in the state of: Michigan
Hello, I'm wondering if there is anyway to clear my publicly sealed charge from background checking companies database. I know there are lawyers out there who specialize in clearing your record, but the problem i'm running into is that my record has been cleared years ago, and this charge continuously shows up on background checking companies. From my understanding the only way to clear this from their(background checking companies) database is to first, purchase their background check, second, get the falsified information, third, dispute its accuracy. I've called the courts and they have said that my record has been sealed from the public, but the public still see's this. I have several rejection letters from companies that have hired me, run the BG check then rejected me, this is a living nightmare that is unbearably depressing. This record doesn't show up on ICHAT but it does through background checking companies. I'm wondering if there is anyone with legal advice out there that can help me? Is it possible to correct this through the companies? should I throw everything out the door and persue a different career path? PLEASE, someone give me good advice.
