You aren't the bad guy, and you aren't the only one to notice how offensive llworking and the other angry hens here are. By all means check out this problem with your ex not listing these accounts. Even if those accounts belong to her parents, she could have squirreled money that you would have had a right to away in them. You are almost at the 2-year mark, if the statue of limitations was 1 year you may be in trouble, if it was 2 years, you may be able to do something. You can always make a police complaint about false swearing or perjury or whatever crime it would be in your jurisdiction and let them figure out if she can be tried. You could also try to change your payments you are making to her even if she isn't legally liable for lying.

Do please at least try to know what you're talking about first before you jump - pretty please?

No, you cannot use any of this now because too much time has passed. In addition, you completely did not understand the point that I was attempting to make. Many, many people are on their parent's accounts for convenience purposes and/or estate planning purposes. That doesn't make the money the property of the adult child.

The only possible issue would have been the 401k, and too much time has passed. Its something that should have been re-opened as soon as you found out about it, not years later.

Child support is a calculation based on the incomes of the respective parents. You are working two jobs and living rent free (so you shouldn't be complaining about the fact that she is living rent free). Your debt level isn't outrageous. Something isn't right with that picture if you cannot afford to feed yourself.
llworking. thank you. this was the answer I was looking for in your original reply. Thank you everyone.

I would rather hear what are generally accurate answers from an "angry hen" (sexist, much?) than hear from a person whose answers are about as useful as those one might expect to receive from a potted plant. Just sayin'.
