Default Can an Employer Demand an Employee Only Work for Them

My question involves employment and labor law for the state of: Oklahoma

Can an employer demand an employee have no other job or quit an existing second job?

If it is a Conflict of Interest, yes. (Example: You work for Kroger, you want to also stock shelves for a vendor of Kroger)

It the other employer is a competitor, yes. (Example: I am a Wine Demonstrator, Independent Contractor. I work in Kroger, Spartan, and a private party store chain. Therefore, I cannot work for a company that has Food Product demos at Meijer)

Yes, they can, because there is no law that says they can't.

Yes, even if it isn't a competitor or conflict of interest.

Can an employer then demand an employee never play basketball? Can an employer demand an employee not date or get married?

As long as they do not engage in forbidding an act outlined as discriminatory by the Federal or state gov'ts, or require you commit and act prohibited by law, they can demand anything they wish.

    Yes and yes/maybe.

In some states marital status is a protected characteristic, so in those states employers should tread carefully if they want all their empoloyees to remain single.

Employers may also legally insist all of their employees wear pink hats off the clock.

Put it this way, With the exception of your marital status, if you do those things and the employer doesn't like it, they can terminate you. As our dear friend Patty used to put it, you can be fired for wearing green shoelaces if they feel like it.
