My question involves criminal law for the state of: PA
Greetings,
I was convicted of a drug possession charge in 2010, served 2 years, was released a year early on good behavior, spent a year at a community corrections center, successfully completed the early release program, and have since transferred back to my parents house in an effort to get my life back on track.
I am not using drugs, I am not committing crimes, I rarely even leave my parents home.
My question is this,
My agent came to see me last week and I was not home. It was my gf's day off work and we went swimming.
Apparently, this made my agent extremely angry that I was not there to see him (he did not call before coming).
As a result of this, he was very abrasive with me when we spoke on the phone, going so far as the threatening to send me back to prison for not being available to him.
My green sheet indicates I am to be on very light parole and I have very few impositions from the board to follow.
I cut my hair for a job interview last week and mentioned it to my agent. He said that I have to come see him IMMEDIATELY in order to have a new photo taken.
Since I live in a rural area and do not own a car and my agent will not let me drive (I have a valid license), it is very difficult to travel the 60 odd miles to the parole depot.
Can he seriously send me back to prison because I cannot get a ride out there?!?! How is this even possible! I am doing everything I am supposed to be doing and yet this guy constantly is threatening to send me back to prison. I shouldn't have ever even gone to prison in the first place for my "crime" of ordering pain pills off the internet. There were child rapists in there that had less severe sentences than I had!
I know I should be grateful to even be out but this is ridiculous. How can anyone get their life in order with this constant sword of Damocles hanging over their heads???!?
