Default When Do Judgments Come Off of Your Credit Report

My question involves judgment recovery in the State of:Mn I have an outstanding judgement that is set to be removed from my credit report in November. What does this exactly mean? Will lenders still hold this against me even though it will be removed and not paid? Is there a statute of limitations or anything like that to where this will basically just "disappear". Can they still attempt to collect even though it will have been 7 years? Thanks.

Default Re: Length of Judgement on Credit Report

Most kinds of derogatory information on the credit report retains for seven years. It doesn't have anything to do with the statute of limitations which can be longer or shorter. A judgment in Minnesnota has a duration of ten years. After that they can't collect on it. There appears to be no renewal of judgments other than for child support.
