    Default Domestic Violence Conviction

I have few questions and experienced people share the knowledge.

I am a Green Card Holder and got convicted for the Domestic Violence. I was sentenced for 22 days jail with 20 days suspended and some fine and Anger management classes. This incident happend 6 years ago. This is only bad incident with law before and after. I have applied for the citizenship recently.

Is the actual sentence time that is considered or maximum punishment for similar cases are considered when deciding the moral turpitude or moral character ?

How to find out the maximum sentence for an offence ?

The USCIS will look to the maximum sentence for the offense. You would find out what the maximum sentence is by looking up the statute under which you were convicted.
