My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Texas
Is it wrongful termination if an employee that is covered by civil service in the county if the employer violated not only their own county policies but violated the civil service regulations put in place to protect employees? Also, if, when grieving the termination before the civil service commission, they rule in the employee's favor and that he/she should be reinstated, would that be grounds for a wrongful termination suit?
