    If you have an actual contract, then the are bound by the terms of the contract. Since it is no longer a labor and pay issue but a contractual issue, you would have to sue, if allowed under your contract, for any deficiency in your pay.

    If indeed his offer letter rises to the level of a contract...most don't.
