My question involves criminal law for the state of: California
A while ago, when i was a juvenile i got into some trouble and ended up getting probation for a year. I went to juvenile court. I did really well on probation and Im pretty sure my PO liked me. I ended up going to community college and earning a 3.8 GPA and gaining admission into the honors program, i also payed all fines, community service, etc. I was suppose to see my PO every month but he said he didnt want to waste our time and i ended up seeing him once every two months. He drug tested me only like 3 or 4 times while i was on probation. I saw him two months ago which was the last time and i think i might have failed the drug test for marijuana. Do Probation officers wait until the court date to tell you that you are violated? I searched it and it is said that they arrest you right away if you are violated. i have my last court date in a week and my PO has not contacted me, i check my phone and voice mail everyday now. He said he would if he needed anything. I also hired a Private Attorney. Will my PA be able to find out what will happen with the case before the court date? I was a juvenile and am no longer a minor. Will the judge see that and send me to jail? This was my first offense and as a minor. I also have not had any run-ins with the law since.
If he hasnt contacted me and since my court date is in a couple days, does that mean im ok?
