In Louisiana, according to http://www.interstatecompact.org/Por...rge_010807.pdf , there is no way to be discharged from parole early. I'm on 5 years parole for felony marijuana. My question is if transferred to a new state, say Mississippi, that does allow early termination of parole, would they be able to discharge me early? I see on a few other states say they'll ask for recommendation from the sending state. Mississippi doesn't say either way, but if they do ask I'm wondering if Louisiana would have to approve my early discharge from parole in Mississippi or if they simply would have to not DENY it (or have anything bad to say about me) when I requested it in Mississippi.
