My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Manitoba
I was wondering if anybody had answers the the following questions, in Canada (Manitoba specifically, I know it makes some difference but not sure how big it is).
I know you can move out with or without parental permission in all of Canada at 16, but without emancipation your parents are responsible for you until you're 18. What does that mean?
Can minors get apartments without help/references of an adult? What about jobs?
Can I move out in Canada if I'm not a resident? I'm a citizen of Canada but at the moment I'm a resident of Ecuador. Would that make it possible for my parents to make me go back to Ecuador? I'd be a 16 year old Canadian citizen moving out in Canada, which I know is legal, but what are the complications?
Can I enroll myself in school without signatures from a parent? I've kept up with my Canadian school by homeschooling, so knowing what grade I'm in/ being behind shouldn't be a problem, but what kind of proof would I need?
Thanks in advance!
