My question involves an auto loan or repossession in the State of: New Hampshire
I purchased a truck from my father in 2008. He put a lien on the truck and I'm almost finished paying it off. The problem is that we are now estranged and reconciliation is completely out of the question. I simply send him a check every month with the remaining balance in the note space and he cashes it. I know he views the lien as power over me to try to keep me tied to him. What happens if he won't sign the lien release form? Am I up the creek here?
