My question involves personal property located in the State of: GEORGIA

While a member at a local church, I loaned some personal property to the church for use and have asked several times over the years for these items to be returned, however, the Pastor still has not returned them. I no longer go to this church and have sent a letter to the Pastor, copies to the Church Secretary and Church Treasurer requesting these items be returned. The letter was dated May 23, 2013 and I gave a 30-day period for these items to be returned. I have had no response from the Pastor, however, a lady in the church sent me a text message stating how SICK I was sending a bill to God for these items. I do not want money as a replacement, I want my property. I will add that the last time I checked the church for my property, none of the items were to be found. When I ask the Pastor where they were, he denied knowing and laughed it off as if it did not matter, which he always seemed to do when caught in a pickle. I am ANGRY about this and want to see that I am rightfully treated in this matter.

My question is... How do I proceed to get a court order so that I can get my property back? Will I need to retain an attorney and what court will this be associated with... I would like to have it in State Court, but think there may be limits to my request.

Thank you.
