Can I Be Cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas (Harris County)

I was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia that didn't belong to me. I'm wondering if it would be worth it to fight the citation considering I was in the back seat of this vehicle with nothing (drugs or paraphernalia) in my possession. Everything was in the front with the other persons.

Do I have a high chance of winning if I try to fight this or should I just roll over and take the class c misdemeanor?

If you already have a criminal record of some sort, then adding a misdemeanor to it isn't going to mess up your life anymore than it already is.

But if you have no criminal record then you don't want to start one with this charge because it WILL screw up your future.
