My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Iowa
My 15 year old daughter has some behavior problems past few years and this past school year was truant over 30 times to school. She is on probation and has violated it several times. Her Dad and I were thrown in jail this past weekend for her truancy and now have a fine to pay. What is a person supposed to do when she refuses to get up and go to school? Every time she refused to get up and go, I would call and tell the school that she is home but refuses to go and that I would not excuse it. Why is there no consequences to her and why won't they revoke her probation?
