Default How to Notify the Owner That You Will Dispose of Their Property if They Don't Take It

My question involves personal property located in the State of: New York

I gave someone permission (verbally) to store their things on my (private) property in New York State. I now want them to remove their things so I can sell the property. They have been ignoring my letters and ignoring (I think screening) my phone calls. I want to give them 2 more weeks to remove their property before it is thrown away. I'm not sure if I can use a certified letter or should use a process server.

They're only going to duck the certified mail and it'll be 3 to 4 weeks before it comes back to you as undeliverable.

At this point, I'd suggest UPS or FedEx with tracking. People still think of that as good news.

Put a deadline date, after which you dispose of the items, either in the trash or donate to Goodwill or Salvation Army.

Do not attempt to keep or sell anything.

And, no, you are not entitled to storage fees since you didn't already have a contract for storage fees. (Everybody asks that.)
